Hello, itch io! The Werewolf continues its development through LittleMoon-InDEV, with the main feature of this snapshot being the introduction of day and night.


CHANGELOG

  • Day and night are here! The game darkens the screen up when the night falls. Game title now features a day/night indicator, which is complemented by the debug mode, which now also displays day and time.
  • The player now transforms into its wolf form when night time, gaining health and additional speed, both of which are lost when returning to human form. Previous functionality in the debug mode is maintained.
  • Player's sprite box now renders turquoise in the debug mode, while entities' render blue.
  • Added the ability for the player to enter buildings for a while, and smoothed out building entrances, which now occur whenever the sprite boxes of the entity and the buildings' collide.
  • Added building animations, though in a provisional form.
  • DrawTypes now draw their current position in screen in the debug mode, collide properly with buildings and continue to stay within room boundaries. "Steve" NPCs now also draw centered, and display their direction in the debug mode.
  • Fixed the player's collision system with the room, using the new systems implemented for DrawTypes.


MORE CHANGES

  • Pentivm alarm systems are back! From previous video game project The Crimson Bridge, pentivm alarm systems return to The Werewolf.
  • Added an icon to the game, and the game title to macOS.
